Working to Prevent and End Housing Discrimination

Housing discrimination can be both overt and covert, and unfortunately, it is still prevalent in Virginia.  Despite enactment of the federal Fair Housing Act 50 years ago, housing providers still deny and limit housing opportunities based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, family status, disability, and elderliness.

At Hardiman Law, we are committed to eradicating housing discrimination, both through vigorous enforcement of state and federal fair housing protections as well as the provision of capable counsel on preventative measures for housing providers who are committed to full compliance with the letter and spirit of fair housing laws.

"Men often hate each other because they fear each other.       They fear each other because they don't know each other.   They don't know each other because they can not communicate. They can not communicate because they are separated."

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
